I awake early in the morning. Many people are rolling over and going back to sleep my soul is longing to get up and spend time with my Lord
Though I can't physically see Him, I know He is present.
His perspective on things that are troubling me overshadow my anxiety. I feel relief in His presence.
I know my emptiness without you, I will go unfed longing being unsatisfied. My pain I can not carry, I give it to You Lord.
Help me to embrace what comes my way as an opportunity...rather than a personal battle within me, my Lord.
You already see all the many ways I will surely fall short and mess up.

But right now, I consciously tuck Your whisper of absolute love for me into the deepest part of my heart. I recognize Your love for me is not based on my performance. You love me and carry me in times of adversities. Your mercy, how amazing I‘m humbled. But what's most amazing is that the God of the Universe, the Savior of the world, would desire a few minutes with me this morning.

Lord, help me to forever remember what a gift it is to sit with You like this. You are my comforter, my shield, my salvation.

Dear Lord, I love You. You are the desire of my hearts every beat. I know and confess that sometimes my actions and reactions betray my love for You. Please forgive me. Thank You for Your grace that is able to recognize this new day as a new chance to walk closer with You. My Alfa and Omega, Amen

All dressed in our very finest. Reflecting times when living was different when the holidays had more faces. The grief has me feeling all -consumed at times, I tend to forget that Christ is right here with me! Now I look around us, nothings like it used to be. Now just memories. ’I smile through my tear-blurred vision and thanked God for His comfort, and for the hope I have in Him. I thanked Him for sustaining me through this journey of grief. I thank my God I am thankful that I can be content that I have Christ and He is all I need, for all we've seen and done, for when we started out and now have grown as one. How many more Thanksgivings will I see before I go? How many times will faces change? Of this we just don't know.

Dear Lord, thank You for this day. Thank You for Your Son and Your Spirit, given to me. Thank You for the provision of shelter and food I have today. And Lord, thank You for this reminder to become more mindful of my blessings. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

This is how I must start my day to find strength; it’s only in Christ! It’s a lonely life when you loss something so dear to you! Adversity seems like medical handicap!
I must look for the Lord’s part in my adversity, or I'll miss it. I’m not simply to endure suffering; I’m to grow and mature through it. The best way to develop this attitude is to thank Him every day for the spiritual growth in my life. For His wonderful gift My Ashley and Regis by allowing me to be apart of her life! And for Regis to see my strength in our Lord. This is an everyday (new) routine that I must do!
I know that I am a child of God. I am saved. I have become united with Christ. I am sealed with the Holy Spirit. My eternal destiny is determined, and nothing can change that. The Lord will never leave me nor forsake me. Nothing can touch me apart from what my heavenly Father allows. All things will work together for my good since I love God and have been called according to His purpose in Christ.

God's promise to Abraham, Isaac and offered to Jacob as well. As Jacob dreamed he was able to see a ladder set upon the earth and it reached into heaven and he saw angels of God! The promise was given! I have no grounds to bargain with my Lord. I would like to have that ladder to see (Gods) my angels. Maybe I will dream! Its about my personal relationship with my Lord. My prayer is that one day I for the glory of God, will be a part of His greatness! I have been blessed and a blessing she is. A difficult road, I will have to follow this I am sure. But I AM promise to hold my hand and carry me if I need! Patience is the hardest when we need it the most, but it is the key to achieving the goal. I miss her more and more everyday, just moving forward is the hardest for me! I miss you my sweet angel!!

I have been reading the comments on the blog! I thank each of you, for taking the time and sharing, giving encouragement! Allowing me to hear how God is still working thru Ashley and the love that she shared. It means so much to me, I'm so privilege to be her mom. I guess this is the way, I trade daily trials for that joy! Some nights I'm not able to sleep or get to bed on time, my spirit is restless. I haven't been able to focus and I look over the site. I say very little at times but it dose help me, when I read over them! The last post was at graduation, everything was so well put together! The class of 2008, done a memory garden. They named it Ashley's garden it's very nice! I've been doing somethings to keep it looking nice while the students are out for the summer! I've really enjoyed just sitting out under the tree's! I hope that the student's will enjoy it just as much. Taking a walk or just looking out at God's great creation and hearing its cheerfulness, it seem to embrace me. I find myself holding my faith close to me during this time. I have not finished the book I started reading, 90 minutes in Heaven, of a death and life, true story writer Don Piper. I just started reading it, it's something I think I need to hold off on reading at the time! Everyone has said it has given them a new perspective. I'll read it soon, I'd like to hear of the miracles he shares! Well I ask for your prayers, I'm grateful for each one of you! May my life be a living prayer to the Lord, as long as there is a need in my life and in the world. This is not my home, help me to be humble, make in me a clean heart and mind and fill me with your mercy Lord! Thank you Lord for my beautiful daughter I love her and my son very, very much! This was the day that Ashley looked forward to as you've read. Ashley's plans for her future seem so complete. Going off to college was her big step, we talked about it! I told her please be careful don't go anywhere without your friends and always seek to encourage all who cross your path! Love with no strings attached. Feed your soul with the word of God and if you ever grow weak please call your mom or a Christian friend, stay close to the Lord! Pray everyday and never forget someone (I'm) praying for you! You must be the change you wish to see in the world! She told me that, she one day would start her home close to me, so that I could watch my grand babies while she worked on the future!

Monroe Area High School Awards Ceremony 2008

I have watched her grow into this beautiful young lady, Ashley has lived a vibrant life and the Lord has used her in so many ways. I'm able to see the love THE LORD has shown thru Ashley in all her friends and to anyone she meets. The teachers and school had an Awards Ceremony Thursday MAy 15, at 7:30am for the Senior 2008 class they honored the FBLA Ashley Bond Peters Scholarship award and spoke of Ashley's student council service award, some of the staff put together a speech in the memory of Ashley I was truly humbled to be apart of this program to see all the lifes the Lord touched thru Ashley's sweet spirit. I pray that they know just how much this means to me. I love each and every one of them so very much!

Morning came and a new day has been given. It has been a beautiful day, brighten by the grace of our Lord and His spirit so present! I'm so grateful for all the prayers and all the Love that is shown, my family and myself are so blessed to have such a loving church family. I read a bible scripture from 1John4:7 "beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God! Ashley is with God and so loved. Sunday night at church a prayer request was given and it was for a local church in Social Cirle, Georgia the church needs prayer and I ask you to help by praying for them and the trouble that this family has, I ask that you keep them in your prayers, and ask God to over come with His power and let His presents be seen! May the Lord lift your spirit, encourage your heart, build your faith,and brighten your day.

I've not been sharing much lately, I have been reading a lot, done a lot of thinking, and holding on to every word we last shared every minute we last had together! I'll be strong l know, but it's so hard when part of yourself is never going to be the seem ever again. The book I'm reading now is My Dream Of Heaven By Rebecca Ruter Springer, It was given to me in Memory of James Ross by His Mother Sandy Roberts. I received a call the other morning from Les Roberts a wonderful Godly Man that shared some comforting words and prayed with me! Thank You, God for Showing yourself when I seem to be at my weakest point! I can not imagine going though life without knowing my Lord! I pray that God will allow me to dream, and in my dream i would love to hold her in my arms again and hear her say I Love you mom and i would say to her I love you to my angel!

If I knew it would be the last day I would have! I would have planned it completely with no backouts! I would video every action and word you said, so I could play them back day after day.If I knew that February 09, would be the last time, I'd see you fall asleep, I would have tucked you in more tightly and watched you sleep. If I knew it would be the last time that I'd see you, I would have made your favorit breakfast, pancakes and sat down to talk just a little while longer, my hug would have been longer and I would have looked into your eyes and give you a kiss and went back for one more. The Future

In the future I see myself graduating from high school on May twenty third of two thousand and eight. In the fall of two thousand and eight I will attend Gainesville State University for a few years to build up all of the classes that I need to take in order to transfer. Then I will transfer to the University of Georgia and graduate form there with a master’s degree in business. Next I will begin to create my own childcare business to own and manage.
A family is one of the main things that I want for myself in the future. Having a family is very important to me. I hope to fall even more deeply in love with my high school sweet heart and marry him. Then I would wish start our own big family together, where we will live happily together watching are children grow and their children grow.

Friendship

Before we even knew each other, my best friend and me were both going through hard times. She and I were in the fourth grade, but we went to two different schools. I went to Colham Ferry Elementary School in Watkinsville, and she want to Monroe Elementary School in Monroe. She cried and begged her mom just about every single day not to make her go to school. She didn’t want to go to school because she didn’t have any friends in her class. On the other hand, my mom had just gotten married, and I was going to have to switch schools. I really didn’t look forward to changing school and making new friends. My first day at Monroe Elementary School was wonderful; my teacher’s name was Mrs. McCartney, and I made a new friend on that very day. Ever since my first day at Monroe Elementary School, that friend and I have been the very best of friends Ever Since.

Ashley Jordan Daniel has been my best friend since the fourth grade. She is one of the greatest things that has ever happened to me. She has always been there for me through thick and thin. I know for a fact that Ashley and I will be the best of friends till the end.
